Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Email address — used for sign-in via one-time password (OTP). Not shared with third parties for marketing.
Products you audit — name, brand, and category of each product you add. Stored so you can review your audit history.
Usage count — how many analyses you have run this month, to enforce plan limits.
Subscription status — whether you are on the free or Pro plan. Payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are not stored on our servers.

Anonymous users (not signed in) have only their usage count stored server-side, keyed to a session token. No email is collected until you choose to sign up.

2. How we use it

To provide the product analysis service and display your audit history.
To enforce monthly analysis limits by plan tier.
To process payments and manage your subscription via Razorpay.
To send transactional emails (OTP for login, payment confirmation). No marketing emails without explicit opt-in.

We do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes.

3. Third-party services

Supabase

Authentication and database. Your email, audit history, and usage data are stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the United States (AWS us-east-1).

Anthropic (Claude AI)

AI analysis. When you audit a product, we send the product name, brand, and category to Anthropic’s API. We do not send your email address, location, or any other personal data to Anthropic.

Razorpay

Payment processing for Pro subscribers. Card and UPI details are entered directly on Razorpay’s hosted checkout and are never transmitted to our servers.

4. Data retention

Account data (email, audit history, usage records) is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your Pro subscription, your account reverts to the free tier — your data is not deleted automatically.

To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email hello@lifeauditindia.com. We will process deletion within 30 days.

5. Cookies

We set one first-party cookie: a Supabase session token that keeps you signed in. It is essential to the service and cannot be opted out of while using a signed-in account.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Your rights

Under Indian law (PDPB 2023), you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.

Submit any of these requests to hello@lifeauditindia.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. We operate in compliance with the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (PDPB 2023). Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
