We decode what’s in your everyday life.
Most Indian product labels tell you nothing useful. LifeAudit uses Claude AI to analyse ingredients and calibrate risk to Indian conditions — groundwater fluoride and arsenic by state, synthetic dye prevalence in fast fashion, ultra-processed additive loads in packaged food, PM2.5 in metros. You get a risk score, plain-English concerns, and cleaner alternatives that actually exist in the Indian market.
Six categories, one audit trail.
Three steps from product to verdict.
City, water source, cooking habits, clothing preference. Four questions. This anchors every risk score to your actual conditions — groundwater fluoride in Bihar is not the same problem as RO-filtered water in Bangalore.
Claude AI interprets ingredients using published safety guidance and weights local hazards — arsenic belt states, PM2.5 in metros, synthetic dye prevalence — to create a practical risk profile.
A risk band (Low / Moderate / High), a plain-English summary, flagged chemicals with mechanism notes, and three Ayurvedic or cleaner-label alternatives available in the Indian market.
One researcher, one frustration.
Built by Inigo Antony, an energy systems researcher (MSc Birmingham + IIT Madras, physics undergrad, first-author paper in Journal of Energy Storage) who got frustrated that most Indians have no idea what’s actually in the products they use every day. LifeAudit started as a personal project and became a tool.
